Your test results are in…

We apologize. Seismic Interactive and Design conducted an experiment and you were our unknowing subject. Under the guise of “holiday well wishing”, we were watching your every move throughout The Seismic 12 Days of Christmas. Well not necessarily your EVERY move, because that would be kind of creepy, but we were keeping track of the visitors to The 12 Days of Christmas. All of this research was painstakingly done so that we could demonstrate the Power of an E-mail Campaign. Our in-depth study concluded:

Seismograph

For those of you who don’t like charts and graphs, this is what it boils down to.

Recall that Seismic Interactive and Design sent a Seismogram much like this, on the first of The 12 Days of Christmas. That single E-mail resulted in a 211% increase in traffic to our website. We followed up with another Seismogram a few days later, which again resulted in 124% increase over the previous 7 day average. This was an almost unheard of 235% increase in traffic to our site. In addition, nearly 21% of you clicked through to our main website to see what other goodies we have to offer.

The real kicker to this whole scenario is on the last of The 12 Days of Christmas, when many should have been out buying up the stores supplies of salad shooters and chia pets, several of you were visiting our holiday site (a 283% increase from the previous day) with 34% clicking through to check out the rest of the Seismic Interactive and Design website. Those are some pretty impressive numbers, and we thank you for your participation.

Imagine what kind of prospective clients or sales you could generate with the use of a simple E-mail campaign. Are you launching a new product or service that might be aided by a flash demonstration or tutorial? Could an upcoming event or promotion draw a larger audience with the use of a blog? Or do you simply want to add a little revelry to your existing site with a Play section containing entertaining downloads or games? We’re just loaded
with ideas. Contact us if you need more inspiration!

We had so much fun putting together The 12 Days and we sincerely hope that you enjoyed playing along with us. For those of you who missed out, you can still check out The Seismic 12 Days of Christmas. Our main goal was to spread holiday cheer, with the added benefit of showing off some. Our hope is that you enjoyed your holiday season. Now let’s get started on YOUR interactive campaign..
